At Belmont Christian Preschool, we are committed to providing high-quality education, delivered with care and compassion. Our curriculum is designed to encourage all aspects of your child’s development, including cognitive, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. We believe that children learn best through hands-on, play-based activities that challenge them to explore and grow. Our purpose is to inspire a lifelong love of learning in every child that we serve.

Who We Are

Belmont Christian Preschool is a ministry of Upper Room Belmont, located in the educational wing of First Baptist Church in Belmont. Each member of our staff believes in the power of the next generation, and believes a strong educational and moral foundation is crucial in their formative years.

Candice Heede

Teacher

Candice excites children with her imaginative teaching styles and unique ability to engage with children. She understands the importance of impacting the future generation and believes a solid educational foundation and moral character are essential for the betterment of the next generation. As lead Sunday School Teacher at Upper Room Belmont, Candice demonstrates these abilities weekly, inspiring children to be their best. She holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Psychology and a master's in Management Leadership. In addition, she manages and directs URC's annual kid's camp in July, serving over 300 children. Her passion for the next generation is evident in everything she does.

Hannah Brewer

Lead Teacher

Hannah loves helping little ones become and believes that every child has the potential to be a world changer. She is committed to unlocking that potential by fostering a love for learning in every child she meets. Hannah believes kids learn best when they are having fun and exploring the world around them. Using a play-based approach to teaching, she encourages creativity, curiosity, and a sense of wonder.

Naomi Brewer

Activity Director

Naomi loves kids and enjoys helping them learn in a fun and interactive way. She's actively involved in Sunday School Ministry at Upper Room Belmont. Whether it's decorating the Sunday School Halls, puppeteering, or distributing snacks, her passion for kids is evident in everything she does. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and hopes to contribute to the next generation.

Our art teacher, Elsa, has a unique ability to inspire little ones. She has a passion for teaching young children and bringing out their inner artist. With a family background of ten siblings, Elsa knows just how to connect with kids, providing them with nurturing guidance, artistic inspiration, and a safe space where they can express themselves freely!

Caitlin Brewer

Music Teacher

At Belmont Christian Preschool, we believe in nurturing a lifelong love of music in our students. Our music teacher, Caitlin, is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with younger generations and helping them develop a solid foundation in music. With her extensive proficiency in playing the piano, guitar, and singing, she is capable of guiding your child in the right direction to understand the basics of music. With two little ones of her own, she understands how to relay information to children in a way they can comprehend.
